Writing the Context document

Use this document to discuss the background and conditions the context in which you are proposing your ideas or making your opinions known. The context can make major difference in how your proposal is received. For example in the midst of financial or political crisis you may need to propose strategy that is radically different from the past. If you fail to describe the context of crisis your new strategy will probably not be well received. Context can also mean the portions of written document or speech that indicate intent and without which an excerpted statement could be misconstrued. Consider how the quote " We will be in financial ruin in two years" might be excerpted from the larger statement of " If we dont act now we will be in financial ruin in two years. " The first out of context excerpt indicates prediction of failure which might cause panic among stockholders. The second in context statement urges action now to prevent problems in the future. Discuss the context for your proposal here. You may need to include the history of an issue or refer to other documents for facts and figures to back up your explanation. Web site domain URL
