Create
a storyboard or diagram. Once you've conducted the initial
interview, create a storyboard or diagram of the entire project.
Sample storyboard templates and navigation systems are included
in the Standard and Pro versions. Never begin the development
of any project without a clear design and diagram of the entire
site or project. Our templates and samples are designed
to accommodate growth without requiring redesigns of the existing
project.
The sample
project diagrams included with the Proposal Kits are in HTML,
Visio and ConceptDraw formats. You will need a copy of one
of those programs to manipulate the diagrams. If you do not have
a diagramming tool, we also included HTML versions of the diagrams.
There are many 3rd party diagramming tools in a wide range of
prices available. You can also create diagrams using your graphics
program.
Once you have
created a storyboard diagram and you want to include it in a proposal
(which is optional), use your diagramming tool to save the diagram
as a graphic file which you can then import into the Proposal
Pack "Storyboard" template document.
During this
process, also fill out the Page Count Estimates document to generate
an estimate of the number of pages and types of pages that will
make up the project. This will help you plug in the numbers into
the estimate spreadsheet.
When your
storyboard diagram is complete, save it and copy it into the Proposal Pack Storyboard document.
The Standard
and Pro versions also include the new "Anatomy of a
Performance Web Site" design notes and diagrams to
help you learn to build web sites that perform and give you
an edge over your competition.
Our Pro version
also includes storyboard diagrams of the entire CyberTrakker affiliate
and e-commerce system which also incorporates all of our standard
performance marketing components.
