We offer the following metal fabrication services.

We have years of experience working with the following materials. Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, and iron. As well as solid pieces, we are experienced in working with both square and round tubing. If your project requires a creative mix of materials, don’t be afraid to ask.

We’ve assembled combinations of ceramics, glass, and wood as well as metals. XX Metal Fabricators is not a general metal products factory. While we do fabricate and ship a few large orders for customers, we are known for our custom-made projects. These range from unique business signs to huge tank and piping projects.

The following categories are only a few of the jobs we handle. Custom-Made Entry Gates, Fences, and Signs We work in a wide variety of materials, including bronze and copper, to create these. See our portfolio on our website. Stair Railings and Staircases. Custom stair railings are one of our specialties, along with straight and spiral staircases.

Ramps and Display Shelves. Many of our clients request special-size ramps, shelves, and other support items to move and hold heavy equipment such as motorbikes, snowmobiles, and construction equipment. Tanks and Piping. We fabricate tanks and piping to handle everything from beer brewing to petroleum storage. Replacement Parts. When a replacement part for a valuable piece of machinery is not available, we can probably create it from scratch. Special Fasteners. We have created special latches, locks, hinges, and other containment pieces for special uses, including fireproof and underwater usage.

Whether the problem is rust, a broken weld, or another issue, we can help you analyze whether repairs can be made in a cost-effective manner or whether an item needs to be replaced.

We offer. Onsite inspection of large items When the deteriorating or broken item is too large to transport, our experts can come to you. There’s no charge for an inspection and estimate within 15 miles of our office, and only $.20 per mile beyond that distance. Call for an appointment.

Replacement welds. We can often remove materials from a broken weld and re-weld the piece to make it functional again. Depending on the piece and its use, inspection may be required for new welds before the item can be returned to use. Fabrication of replacement pieces. When only a piece of equipment has failed, we can usually replicate any metal plate or other object and replace that piece to get your business back on track.

The most common jobs we do in this category are cutting and replacing rusted sections of metal cylinders, and replacing steps and walkways on metal stairs and scaffolding. We guarantee all our repairs for a 90-day period. Whether you want only a few pieces of sheet metal cut for you, or you have designed an elaborate item that requires rolling, cutting, bending, and finishing, we can handle your job. We can assemble and weld already fabricated pieces shipped to us from a variety of sources, or we can shape, cut, and assemble a custom piece from scratch.

XX Metal Fabricators is a full-service metal shop. We roll, cut, shape, weld, and finish a wide variety of materials. XX Metal Fabricators is located at 93 Oldham Road in Firndale, WA. Our facilities include.

Fabrication Shop. Our fabrication shop is 17,350 square feet with 3 overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissorlifts. Our main office occupies one corner of this building. Repair Shop. When we need to repair large pieces on our premises, we use our 5000 square foot repair facility, which includes one overhead crane. We bring various other pieces of equipment as needed from our Fabrication Shop.

We can also partition off one corner of this facility for sanding, painting, or powder coating when needed. Materials Storage. Our storage building is nearly 6000 square feet and is fully contained from the weather. If you need to store an item with us before taking delivery, odds are that we can handle it.

Only minimal heat is provided in this building for the comfort of our employees, but we find that our metal pieces generally don’t complain. We are equipped to handle almost any sort of metal work. XX Metal Fabricators has been in the business of metal fabrication and welding for more than 30 years. The company was first started as a welding business XX Welding Services by Xavier Black, who recognized the need for welding services in his area of Washington State.

He soon realized that metal fabrication was also often requested, and partnered with other experienced metal workers in the area to delivery repair and fabrication services to local homeowners and businesses. After receiving his MBA degree, Xavier’s son Xander indicated an interest in joining the business in 1998. Xavier and Xander purchased the current property and formed XX Metal Fabricators, which now employees 83 people in Firndale, WA. Xavier’s daughter Marta Conner and Xander’s wife Joanne Roxley are talented artists who contribute regularly to the business with their custom designs for stair railings, garden gates, and other art pieces.
