How do you write a Rankings document?

Use the Rankings template to describe rankings that are important to your proposal. Your goal may be to show where your organization or your products fit on scale that includes your competitors or to rank choices for purchases that need to be made within your organization just to name two options. Be sure to include the criteria by which rankings are established. For example the popularity of movie is usually ranked by the sales of tickets to that movie as compared to ticket sales to other movies within certain time period. Internet search engines rank websites according to their estimated relevance to search terms entered by users. Introduce the topic of rankings and explain their importance here. Do you want to prove that your company is #1 in your market or are you trying to persuade others to make certain choices or is it your job to post rankings of items to inform others. Explain the criteria by which the items were evaluated as well as when and by whom then list the items in order below. Item #1 Criteria that gave this item this rank e. g. sales votes size speed etc. Item #2 Criteria that gave this item this rank e. g. sales votes size speed etc. Item #3 Criteria that gave this item this rank e. g. sales votes size speed etc. Item #4 Criteria that gave this item this rank e. g. sales votes size speed etc. Item #5 Criteria that gave this item this rank e. g. sales votes size speed etc.

Summarize the rankings here and insert any call to action needed. For example do you want your readers to vote for particular option or to order items. If so tell them how and when to do that here.
