Engineering Technician $125.00 per hour Provides expertise in various shipboard systems design consultation and effects repairs to major systems.

Pipefitter $95.00 per hour Does inspections maintenance and repairs for all shipboard piping systems. Marine Electrician $95.00 per hour Does inspections maintenance and repairs for all shipboard electrical systems. General Laborer $55.00 per hour Provides skilled labor in cleaning painting and preparation work; assists more experienced staff with other work. Waveforce Marine Services offers the following services.

Full inspection and testing services for all marine vessels under 70’ Routine inspection and testing of all structures and tanks as well as all mechanical and electrical systems. We can provide in water including underwater inspection by certified divers or dry dock inspections. Maintenance remodeling refurbishing and repair services for all marine vessels under 70’ Any or all of the following services.

Maintain refurbish or repair ship structures deck covering systems electrical and HVAC systems auxiliary machinery systems ventilation systems electrical rotating machines generators and motors and propulsion systems. Routine cleaning and painting services for all marine vessels under 70’ Dry docking; cleaning and or prep for painting as appropriate for surface including sandblasting; painting and applying protective coatings as required. The following Waveforce personnel are available for expert inspection and repair services.

Grant Pederson – Project Manager If you are undertaking large project such as the refurbishing of multiple vessels the extensive repair of heavily damaged ship or project requiring design services you need project manager to oversee the work for maximum efficiency. Grant Pederson has worked for Waveforce Marine Services for seven years overseeing multiple extensive projects for the Coast Guard the National Park Service NOAA and the National Marine Fisheries Service. Prior to joining Waveforce Marine Services Pederson led maintenance division of the United States Navy.

Grant Pederson holds degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as various certificates in specialized areas of ship inspection and repair. Robin Ocampo – Project Engineer Robin Ocampo has designed special adaptations for high speed Coast Guard vessels and has designed and overseen remodels of ships of all sizes. He has worked for Waveforce Marine Services for eight years.

Prior to joining Waveforce Ocampo spent five years as chief engineer for MaxMar Shipbuilding which built and refurbished U.S. Navy and Coast Guard ships for more than thirty years. Robin Ocampo has degree in Mechanical Engineering and has extensive experience with DOD requirements. Derek Hofer – Site Foreman Derek Hofer has been with Waveforce for five years supervising wide variety of repair projects on ships of all sizes.

Prior to joining Waveforce Hofer spent fifteen years as ship’s engineer in the U.S. Merchant Marine Service. Mikhail Andreev – Engineering Technician Mikhail Andreev has worked for Waveforce for six years and is an expert in repairs alterations and overhauls of electrical or electronic systems related to shipboard systems.

Prior to joining Waveforce Andreev spent five years as an engineering technician in the U.S. Marines. Andreev immigrated to the United States from Russia where he trained as an assistant electrical engineer. He became U.S. citizen in 1996. George Andros – Pipefitter George Andros has worked for Waveforce for four years and is an expert in all marine piping systems.

Prior to joining Waveforce Andros spent three years as pipefitter with Mar Star Industrial Marine Services. Andrea Baker – Marine Electrician Andrea Baker has worked for Waveforce for two years and is an expert in all marine electrical systems. She also is familiar with wide variety of electronic communications and monitoring devices. Prior to joining Waveforce Baker spent ten years in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Jana Keller Sam Justin Peter Watersby Milo Starsky – General Laborers All of the above personnel have worked for Waveforce for two years or more. They are trained to meet all federal rules and perform the often required tasks of cleaning sandblasting painting and assisting our engineers and technicians with inspections installations and repairs. We also subcontract marine welders carpenters and other experts as needed.
