The reason for planned obsolescence might be to increase repeat customer purchases or upgrades or because certain components will wear out and become safety issue or because the product depends on existing technologies that will soon be obsolete. Describe the product and its function then describe how why and when it will become obsolete. Describe your plans for handling the phasing out of this product and the need for replacement.
