How to write my Informatics document

Informatics is term that can be used to describe almost any kind of human computer interaction but odds are that you want to describe how to record store and work with body of information in software system. For example you might want to describe how to store and retrieve scanned legal documents or medical images or how to design and implement software system that will help doctors diagnose patients. Introduce the topic of informatics here explain how you are using the term and describe why this topic is important in the context of your proposal. Goals Describe the goals you want your informatics project to meet. The Information Describe the volume and current state of the text data or media that you need to store and manipulate in computerized system.

Content Organization Issues Describe how the information to be used is currently organized and or how it should be organized. Software Design Issues Describe challenges of designing software system that will allow for effective storage and retrieval of the information. Additional Considerations Describe any other issues that should be discussed here such as budget or schedules for such software project maintenance issues copyright issues or other problems you foresee. You may want to detail some of these issues on other pages in your proposal and then reference those pages here.
